Eddington Residents' Discussion Forum

Where residents can discuss topics related to living in Eddington in a friendly, advert-free, fake-news-free environment and retain copyright.

Eddington Residents' Community Forum

As we move from real to virtual events following the 24 March lockdown and as neighbours face increasing isolation, how can we best support each other?

We ask if everyone would observe the following:

  1. We want to avoid causing alarm through fake news therefore everything posted must be factual and capable of verification.
  2. Please do not post private email addresses or phone numbers (private messaging is available). Remember anything posted here is public.

Eddington Cookbook

This is where we can share and discuss our own recipes and inspire each other to try something new. Please also let us know the reason why you want to share it, if it has any history or meaning to you and how long you have been living in Eddington.

You can also suggest ideas for a cookbook feature to Lis at eddingtoneats@eddingtonra.org

Eddington Hobbies & Interests

This is where we can share the hobbies and interests that are keeping us sane during the Covid-19 lockdown. Have you taken up a new hobby?.. what can you share that might inspire others?

Even if it's the number of teddy bears you've spotted in Eddington - it might inspire us!

Eddington International Community

This is where we can celebrate our diversity and post our favourite photos from our home countries. We are an international bunch, let's take advantage of it!

The core of Eddington consists of 710 key worker apartments for university staff and their families together with Swirles Court, part of Girton College, for postgraduate students. Approximately 60-70% of the staff are post doctoral researchers attracted from a global market. Let's celebrate this diversity!
