Safety in Eddington

Dear residents of Eddington,

Please be aware of
several individuals displaying anti-social behaviour in Eddington – there have even been muggings! We as the Residents Association are communicating with Portal about this, but please do report any incidents to the police (and to Portal as well). Last night the police were called.
- Please be careful walking and cycling around Eddington at night. Especially avoid dodgy looking people in dark clothing
- Note that the hotel (Hyatt and Locke) reception desks are open 24/7 if you need somewhere safe. Their staff are also trained to perform first aid and inform the police, in case this is necessary
- The idea of a neighbourhood watch has been suggested; please get in touch with us if you are interested in being involved in such an initiative
